ESPACIO DE MURGA Y CARNAVAL
Nuestro idioma es la murga porteña. Trabajamos con sus elementos
tradicionales investigando nuevas formas creativas que resalten su riqueza
expresiva. Esta concepción da como resultado una forma original de presentar
en escena este arte ritual característico del carnaval de Buenos Aires.
La Carnavalera está integrada por bailarines y percusionistas de murga
porteña, provenientes de diversas murgas de Buenos Aires, quienes tienen
también formación musical, de técnicas de movimiento, actuación y otras artes.
Son, a la vez, docentes de murga porteña.
MURGA* AND CARNIVAL SPACE
In our language it is the Porteña** murga. We work with its traditional elements,
investigating new and creative ways that highlight its expressive richness. This
conception results in an original way of pesenting on stage this ritual art
characteristic of the Buenos Aires carnival.
La Carnavalera is made up by dancers and percussionists of Porteña murga.
They come from different murgas of Buenos Aires, who also have musical and
acting formation, movement techniques and other arts. They are, at the same time,
teachers of Porteña murga.
